Tales from the gun counter.

My story from in front of the counter at Academy. Salesdude standing in front of a huge banner that reads "ALL FIREARMS SALES FINAL NO RETURNS." I'm looking at a Taurus 1911, one of the most returned guns ever produced. Salesdude says Them there Tauruses is good guns, we almost never get any of em back. I returned the gun and said "no doubt about that." Haven't visited their counter again.

The more I learn the more difficult it becomes to go to gun shops. Last week one of the clerks at Cabelas was "educating" a friend and I about title II ownership. Everything he said was wrong. I asked him how many stamps he has and he said "none".
