Todd Fritsch...The wife and I were able to see him play several times over in Tyler at dinner club on Hwy. 155. Plays very traditional country music and we enjoyed hearing him. His band is great. He's got a couple of CD's out. If you enjoy more traditional country, check him out.

My grandfather served in the Army, in France and Italy IIRC.
Interesting question. I wonder if more Marines served in the Pacific Theater of WW2, and more Army soldiers served in the European Theater?

The US Army had a much larger presence in both theaters. They also conducted more amphibious operations than the USMC as well.
