I thought I was going to scale back for lack of space, then Sterling picked up another couple of riders and decided to bring his own truck. The rolling armory grew. Down to two rifles, two shotguns, BP rifle, six handguns & one BP revolver. I'm glad y'all are bringing some chronos. I never really thought about them until I started re-loading.

Despite my joking around, after hurting my back last night I had a change of heart and packed light. The trunk isn't even full: just 1 case of 5 pistols and 1 rifle. Plus accessories.

    Awesome!

Guess I posted in the wrong forum ... here's the lot I'm bringing.

    5.7x28 FN and AR
    P226
    556
    22LRs - M&P 15-22/Element 2, P938, Single Six, Rem Fieldmaster 572
300BLK - banking on Leo showing up - also bankrolling RTZ
    KSG

    AR500 plates
Staged 6 feet of jalapeno/cheese sausage harvested this year.

Looking forward to meeting ... well, most of you.

There are quite a few people on here that have the good sense to get a 22/45 instead of a Buckmark.

    Or a 22A ... damn what a POS.

Guess I've run the table on 22 pistols ... one hasn't lived till they've battled a Mitchell High Standard.

Guess I missed that ... how many dinars?
TC Encore in .308. The few I have seen for sale on reputable sites go for about $450 or so. This one is used but it is a beauty. Nice wood stock and blued barrel with iron sights, sling, and a scope rail. $400/ obo/ trades sounds fair.

I will have it with if you just want to check it out.

    how ya feelin Ben?
Sore and moving slow. That's a lot better than not moving. :)

Seriously, I had expected to hurt a lot worse this morning but I don't. I'm still moving like an 80 year old but I'm hoping things loosen up as the day goes on. It appears that the fall last night hurt me higher on the back while the more serious injury a month or so ago was lower. Oddly enough, spreading out the pain makes it easier to deal with.

I'd have a more definitive answer for you if the doctors would see me sooner. Y'know, if one doctor tells you "The reason half your foot has gone numb and your back hurts where it does seems to be an injury to your spine between these two vertebra. You need to go see doctor X." then doctor X should be able to work you into his schedule in less than six weeks. But nooooo.

My apologies. This thread isn't the place for that particular rant.

Back OT - Sure looking forward to tomorrow! :)

Considering picking up a new battery and a small camera for doing flyovers of the firing line with an RC plane.

Don't have a super cool quadrocopter.

Inversion is difficult when you weigh as much as I do. There are a couple of floor stretches that help tremendously. In the gym, at least until I'm back running on all cylinders, anything that puts my back in traction helps so I'm concentrating on, for example, tricep pushdowns instead of bicep curls.

I'm also just simply holding a plank to failure several times during each workout. I've been doing that for the last 6 months and it's been hugely helpful. I say that in the context of someone who has been dealing with back problems for almost 20 years. Despite today's pain, I've been far, far worse at times in the past. As I see it, I have very little to complain about at the moment, other than my own clumsiness.

Enough about my back. I feel slightly ashamed for even mentioning it given that there are people reading this missing limbs. Bottom line; I'm fine. Besides, I'm trying to do one on-topic post for every off-topic one and my brain isn't yet awake enough to keep up the pace. :)

Considering the OT was "What ya got?", a hurt back doesn't seem off topic - probably what wasn't originally intended, but still answers the question. Hope you're feeling better quickly Ben.

I've been thinking about how to do that the cheapest way possible while still getting HD vid for about a year now, but it keeps getting put on the back burner because I go and buy other crap!

First thought to try it back when we had a car to do the "Mad Minute" and how cool a flyover would be during that
