Its designated by mossberg as a shotgun. So no. If they sell it as a pistol, then hell yeah its legal.

Mostly in that the bore is over .5". That is supposedly why you don't see any 12 or 20g versions of the judge.


It all sounds borderline to me, but I will not call you wrong anymore until I take a better look at the laws.
