Sure is peacefull around here without yards crews working the neighborhood. Surely they feel they are essential & are going to out messing with peace & quiet! I was hoping on hiring a crew for a spring clean up, but the thistles & catchweed laughs @ that.

And continuing with the good news - you just taught me the correct name for what I've been calling Velcro Weed. :flag:

Since most places require lawn maintenance, wouldn't they be considered essential?
Besides, they stay outside and don't interact with people, for the most part.

Don't know what part of Texas you're in, but it will be a while before anything around here dries out enough to mow. I'm thinking of stocking catfish in my front yard if it rains again.

I probably need to cut my grass tonight. Good thing my lawn mower has a headlight on it. Shame I don't live next to @baboon :D

My yard is so big, I have to mow it in installments with my big ass zero turn mower and my wife (bless her) doing the small places with a 22" deck Honda manual......then, oh yeah, the noisy blowers come out by us...don't like that?

    Move........

If I don't want to spend the whole weekend at it we run two sometimes three mowers. A big zero turn, a 60" lawn tractor and a John Deere 318 with a belly mower. I make Mrs Whistler use the zero turn, hard to drink beer on that one.
