    Rural Wise County, TX.
    Winchester Model 1897.
Serial number puts it at 1906.

Marked FULL on the barrel but has that lined out and CYL stamped below.
Barrel cut to 21" long ago. Got it from an estate sale. Rumor is it was used in cowboy shooting with BLACK POWDER loads but it is very clean.(somebody took care of it)

A little loose in places but works fine.

Slam fires just like my model 12s and my model 25.

Good looking.... Savage? Or Stevens, Springfield, Fox, Miroku? What all is different on yours from the Remy or Browning? And what was the model name?
1944 Savage 720 USAF gunner training shotgun.
