I do most of my shooting at an indoor range, so I rarely use my suppressors. If I shot outdoors more, I might use them more.

If you have other people shooting though, you still need to use hearing protection, so it's kind of wasted having them.
    Just my opinion...

I do think a suppressor would be handy in a home defense situation. I would imagine that people who have to use their weapons inside to protect themselves suffer significant hearing damage.

Absolutely, of course this means having the suppressor attached at all times to the HD weapon.

I keep electronic ear muffs in the table beside the bed with my bedside gun for that reason.
I don't have enough suppressors to have one on every gun I have stashed around the house.

I wish more people would shoot suppressed, especially indoors. I haven't quite eliminated that flinch when someone else shoots. Me, I'm good - others, I jump for about the first 10 minutes.

Obviously, but what are the odds in that...

Sooooo... for every 1-2 million suppressors, one is used for mass shootings.

I can see how banning suppressors could impact murder rates

For handguns, you need a threaded barrel (cheap an easy to swap). It can with adapters. As long as the suppressor is made for a larger or equal caliber than the gun you’re using it on.
