Reading through the feed, people are saying that this is not the first time a piece of our "food supply" chain has been destroyed/attacked this year.

This is news to me... I hope this wasn't sabotage, or done on purpose.

My question is what in the heck does a dairy farm have on-site that could cause an explosion like that?
Sure, a grain silo or fuel storage might blow up with mismanagement, but not to the extent that it is comparable to Trinity. The black/dark grey smoke is an indicator of a petroleum-based fuel source, not a bio/natural gas/methane explosion.

Wishful thinking; I hope someone in the media looks into this more and does not sweep this story under the rug.

I guess I'm woefully uninformed because I really thought the only stuff out that way was oil/petroleum and sand. Had zero clue of any dairy plants out there.

    WOW!

Approximately 18,000 cows were blown into Hamburger Helper...

Let's see, at approximately $3,000 per head, that's at least $54 million dollars of losses (not including the building and hardware)...
    Ouch!
