Next step is to start the lawsuit process. I need to have an engineer come do a complete survey of the house, property and damage and then have a meeting with the lawyer to see where to go. I have already been told that it can take 18-24 months before I ever see a dime and that's if we win, some of the local judges have been known to throw these cases out for the slightest reasons. But Im going to need to pay for the engineer, lawyer and repairs win or lose.

Well the lawyer that I was referred to cant help me, he is currently defending and has defended the Inspector on more than one occasion so I need to call one of the other lawyers in town.

We are finally drying out on the east side. I'll give the yard another 24 hours to bake in the sunshine then I'll mow tomorrow. Mowing around here is like baling hay!
