Yep, whatever works for the shooter...I have smaller hands and short thumbs...for me, racking just works better no matter what pistol I'm shooting. If shooters are comfortable with using slide stop in their training, thats awesome. Using the slide stop/release is faster than racking.... if you have thumbs long enough to reach it..LOL!
