I think the best way to prevent all these airline related deaths is to ban airplanes.

Universal background checks for pilots and full registration of aircraft just hasn't worked.

Only the Government should fly\have planes. The rest of us should just keep to the ground like the founding fathers intended.

Nah, there are just too many planes out there now to ban planes only...we must ban jet fuel! Or, better yet, have the government just threaten to ban it so everyone panics and starts buying all the jet fuel and drives the price way up. Then the crazies can't afford it. Then when all the hoarders have too much, make laws limiting the possession and get the EPA to enforce. :-S
