Being a "True Texan" has nothing to do with boots or clothing. It's about attitude.
Not everyone born here is a "True Texan," nor do you have to be born here to be a "True Texan."

But it helps to have been born, or at least grow up, in Texas.
I did say “it helps”.Not really. I have met many people that were born here but don't act like it. I've also met a number of "transplants" that exemplify Texas values and culture.

That girl from Texas needs to quit telling people that.I watch this channel a bit and this is one of their newer videos. Most are southern (Carolinas) comedy. This one fits in here.
