    Bithabus,

Well, one thing is CERTAIN. = IF we don't try to educate the POTUS on this issue, we surely won't know if his mind/behaviors can be changed.

    yours, satx

I sent him two tweets, what else do you want off me? ;)

The only good thing about this is that suppressors aren't a new idea. Bump stocks were sorta new. A new approach to them could fly and it did.

Suppressors, though, are going to require a change in the law since they're already NFA items. There's no way that should get past the Senate.

If it does, at least we'll know which RINOs need to be primaried.

Personally, though, a .22 and a .30 suppressor were in my future. I might have to bump up that timeline.
Same here. I even had one (.22) that I have my eye on at Ally Outdoors.

Someone should point out they were within a cats whisker of being legalized to protect hearing in shooters. A mass shooting and some idiots took care of that. It was all about protecting hearing, leave the 2A out of it. Gets less leftists stirred up.

    That was my point.

He may not be a gung-ho gun fanatic like this crowd but you can be guaranteed that the demoncrap nominee whoever that is will be 100% anti-gun and one of their planks will be gun confiscation.

Now what are you going to do? Not vote? Dumb move.

You can’t guarantee anything in this reply. How much pro-2A legislation has passed since 2017?! And honestly, there’s video of the man willing to violate the Bill of Rights and the the bump stock ban is an example of him doing it. He also has a history of a guns for me, not for thee mentality.

I like his fiscal policies but I don’t let the smooth taste fool me. He is as anti-gun as most of the democrat candidates. He is already worse than Obama when it comes to gun rights.

    He'll come around.

So, he's not a super pro-gun guy, but he's not anti either - get over yourselves.....

What exactly are you basing this off of?? Besides the lies that he’s told NRA members at the 3 conventions he’s spoken at you’ve got nothing cement to believe that he’ll “come around” or that he’s not anti-gun. He show that he had no respect for thousands of gun owners to at least reimburse them for the personal property that he was going to ban.

People put their faith in the NRA and Trump. It sort of makes us like those Islamic apologist. They keep spouting that they are all good right up to the point that they get killed by them. Both Trump and the NRA will continue to eliminate accessories all the way down to magazines sizes.

Nope. When it comes to gun rights, Trump is worse than Obama. Obama never lied to us about how he felt about gun rights and the people that owned them. We as gun owners knew what we were getting. Trump lied multiple times about it. 3 of those times happened at an NRA convention.

I learned early in my work career that if management repeatedly tells your company that your jobs are safe and that you have nothing to worry about, you better start worrying. Obama was doing it with Obamacare and Trump is doing it with gun rights. Bump stocks, then confiscations and worrying about due process later. And now the possibility of him banning suppressors. Before his term is up we will probably get a Federal Red Flag Law too thanks to Republicans RINOs.

I have answered your question with the only answer you are going to get. I find it a bit hypocritical though that you called me out for initially ignoring your question, but then you have done just done the same thing. I believe I asked you if you can say with certainty that a worthy third party candidate won't run in the future.

If you read any of my subsequent posts you would know the answer to this.

I did not say I would never vote for a third party candidate.

    Have a good day.
