Apparently Trump plans some kind of statement at 10:00 am tomorrow and says "perhaps more needs to be done". Anybody else concerned that he's about to throw AR's under the bus like he did bump stocks?

I hope not. I don't know where else I'd go. Hopefully it's just the same hollow bluster he's known for, but I have a bad feeling about this because of the bump stocks.

I saw a sorta blurry picture of what appeared to be an AR that he was said to have ordered from somewhere in Texas, but I don't know that I've seen that confirmed.

Don't forget what Candidate Trump said: 'Take the guns first, go through due process second'.

'I support the ban on assault weapons' - Donald Trump, 2000, The America We Deserve

Make no mistake, Trump is distancing himself from the rapidly imploding NRA and will abandon the Second Amendment as it's more aligned with his true politics and politically expedient. He already banned bump stocks outright, he's willing to sell the RTKBA for thirty pieces of silver.

Keeps changing, but I'll go with that.

    Is this the speculation thread?

    No speculation here.

He's already stated Mental Health as a problem, I'm betting on he'll go with his "take the guns first" stance and start pushing some kind of Red Flag law. I do hope I'm wrong.
