Cruz played Swinestein like a fish! He was in complete control, got her to show her vulnerable places then slacked off to fight another day. I spent the first 30+ years of my life learning how to exploit vulnerable places so I could hurt people. When she lost it, I would have moved in for the kill. When you lose your temper, you lose your mind.

Cruz, however, noted how she reacted, kept playing her then slacked off. She was probed by a master. Cruz owns her and will pop her off any time he chooses to. The guy is a sharp player!

I agree with that. He backed off at the appropriate time.

Well-trolled by our Senator, fo sho!

Cruz gave Swinestein a little taste of what is to come. Her rein of terror is at an end. Flash would prefer that he twist the bitch's neck like a chicken. Cruz is smarter than that. He'll come back to fight another day! It's best not to show all of your best tricks up front. Now that we know her breaking point, he'll wait, set her off again and make her look like a bigger fool. The idea is to get that carpetbagger OUT of the Senate.

    Flash

Oh, I think Cruz will wring Feinslime's neck like a chicken....politically. A few phrases about the Constitution or rights (any rights) and Feinslime will self-implode, just like she did during that committee hearing.

Swinestein showed so many of her soft places that it will give Cruz and anyone else who really observes her, targets to strike.

She is not a lawyer. She feels intimidated by the highly educated people around her.
She found the two dead politicians in California.
Thousands die in vehicle wrecks and she does nothing. She finds two dead men and her whole life then revolves around grabbing guns.
She gets wound up and loses her mind. It takes about five minutes for her to get back under control.
Her face tells you exactly where she is on the "losing it" scale. When her nose curls up, she's gone!
Fellow Senators ran interference for her and let her cool down. That tells me she can't chill on her own and they know it...... LOOSE CANNON!
Liberal media plays her as the winner but Cruz owns her....just like I do. I know her weaknesses and know how to damage her. I'll push her buttons and drive her crazy!

THERE IS SO MUCH TO EXPLOIT HERE!

I don't remember the details but there was a study done not long ago about the difference between conservatives and liberals. The essence was that if you disagreed with a conservative, the conservative would not get angry but would be willing to debate. The liberal gets down right pissed whenever someone disagrees with them. They believe they are right, everyone else is wrong, end of story. I even saw an interview on Fox where several liberal leaning people agreed with this assessment.

    I just had to smh.

Cruz can't be a bull in a china shop all the time - he needs to remember who his audience and enemy are - they are different in every situation
The only audience he should be concerned with is Texans. I think we'd all be better off if representatives took a more selfish interest in whats best for their state instead of caring about what their peers and the rest of the DC crowd thinks of them.

well thats a rather simplistic way of looking at the role of a senator

and thinking forward with that logic - if all 100 senators took that attitude - exactly how much would get done in those chambers

    smh......

Would Congress locking up entirely and accomplishing fuckall be a bad thing?

In fact, I'd argue that slow movement and minimal "success" was the way the system was originally designed with Senators appointed by state governments. Doing that and putting the people's representatives in the House was definitely not a system designed to be streamlined.

i get your point but i think there's a great deal more done on a daily basis than most of us realize

it's easy to look at it all from a "big picture" perspective - especially when one has really no clue of all the little things that operate on a daily basis because of congressional action

i get that its popular to bash Feinstein - i'm all over it.....but i also think there's something to be said about being smart with your "enemy" rather than cute.

its obvious my opinion is in the minority here and thats ok....

You can easily look up everything congress does daily or watch CSpan.

They don't usually accomplish much from what I've seen. Right now they are all doing favors in order to toe the party line and pay back campaign contributors.

Then they are voting to spend 1 billion on a petting zoo in nowhere NM so they can get someone to vote yes on some other BS money pit down the road.

Just look at how much waste they tacked on to the Sandy relief money. Then those who voted no because of all the ridiculous unrelated spending are painted as bad guys.

Yes, I think there should be an every state for itself attitude. Even if it didn't work, how much more F'd up could it get.

I'd love to see the Heritage Foundation or another such body begin a campaign to roll back that which has passed which is un-constitutional. We are 100 years past the creation of the Fed... FDR's socialism and Johnson's socialism... gun control act of... Then... I'd like to see congress begin to roll those back one by one. Yes... it would cause tension and some thought to do, but it would be placing us on a path back toward our constitution.
