Waco Range Day, Mid June

I want to try and get a range day set up in the Waco area, probaby Saterday, June 16 at Chandlers Gun Range outside of Valley Mills. I need to see how many are interested. Let me know and I will make some calls and see if maybe I can get some kind of group discount.

Thinking of starting things around 9am.

Talked to the guys at chandlers, a group of 5 or more is $10/person. If there is a high enough head count I will call back and speak with the owner and see if I can get it alittle cheaper. Also asked if they allowed .50 cal and they don't.

Hopefully I can get out there and have a look before long but probably not for a couple weeks.

If those interested could PM me the city they live in I can see what other locations fall in the middle and what kind of deals we can try to get.

I forgot to mention, Hicksville is the first place I shot at bowling pins so they allow non-standard targets.
If you have a unique target, you should call them and see if it's allowed.


I wonder how much a pallet of rotten watermelons go for ....

Looks like the top candidate. I will call them when I get to the house and make sure they have no other events planned that day. The 600 yrd range worries me alittle, it would be pretty damn embarrasing to bring a 50 cal. And not be able to qualify for it. Lol
