Thanks for the heads up on the manual. Put it on my computer and Kindle and also got the Lyman manual.

They have other reloading books in digital format. some for free.

Anytime. I chose Hornady since I was using there bullets and cases. I bought Lee’s newest manual as well. I noticed there are some small differences between the two manuals is far as loading info goes

How much does the Hornady book run for digital copies?

I don’t remember off hand. I feel like it was close to what the Lee manual cost and I like having it on my phone.

Thanks. Was reading where some are using magnum primers, didn't know if I should search some out or not. Hoping to load some up in the next week or so. May have questions for you :)
Just made a small reloading area and trying to find all my stuff. The bowl on my Frankford Arsenal tumbler cracked, but I called them and they shipped me a new bowl at no cost.

The app from the app store is free to install. To get actuaL data it's 19.99 for all the data or 0.99 for each cartridge. I chose the Amazon route so I could load it on all my devices.

Google "modern reloading PDF" and you can find a downloadable version for free. It's a previous edition so it doesn't have some of the newer calibers but it's got a lot of free GOOD data in it.

Edit: it looks like it's a 2003 edition

    Speaking of case lube.
I have used homemade, spray on cases, let dry 5 min.
    Heet + liquid lanolin.
HEET gas line antifreeze which consists of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Use a 1:12 mix ratio and you will never go back to any other lube.

I have used a similar mix for years.
Just 99% isopropyl alcohol and liquid lanolin but at 1:8 ratio.
I'm curious, do you use the 1:12 ratio on a progressive press?

    Gibson’s shakes some old cobwebs.
I grew up in Abilene and back then they were the Walmart of the times.
That was one place I didn’t mind mom dragging me into.
I could get lost sporting goods and she knew where to find me.
There is still the remnants of one in Weatherford but it’s a True Value Hardware I think.

The Gibsons in Weatherford had a pretty good selection of powder and other supplies the last time I was there. I have not been this year though....

Finished off the rest of the 223 brass I had prepped. Ran it thru my 550.

Broke it down and stored my powder/ primers. Regrouped my bench a bit.

Gotta get prepped for my 9mm projectiles being delivered (hopefully this week).

I'll change over my 550 to 9mm tomorrow.
