It should still work fine. I use a 9mm mould thats a little more beat up than that. Just make sure it's lubed up right. If you don't have instructions you can download them on the Lee website.

Took the new chrono to the range this morning. I had 2 goals. 1- DONT SHOOT THE CHRONOGRAPH!! And 2-test our a few of my 6.5 creedmoor handloads. One was a 129 grain soft point hunting round that I knew was extremely accurate, but I wanted to chrono the round. The other was a 147 grain ELD Match round, that I worked really hard to make sure was loaded very consistently. I took 3 shots, and I was pretty happy with the limited results I got. Average speed was 2630, with an extreme spread of 6 fps and a standard deviation of 3 fps. Like I said it was only 3 rounds, so those numbers don’t mean a lot, but I think I’m on the right path anyway. Would definitely like more speed, so I will keep working up on that load.

Today I ran about 100 pieces of new 6.5 PRC brass through a resizing die, getting them ready for a reloading project. The Nosler Premium Brass looks very nice - only had one piece that looks unusable. Now to find some large rifle magnum primers...

I ordered another 1k nickel 9mm and 500x 10mm brass. Been casting a little bit of 10mm bullets the last couple few days but only about 100 a day with the 2 cav mould.

Next time I'm buying a 2 cav mould somebody slap me and tell me to just buy the 6 cav moulds!

Just ordered 2 lbs of IMR4350 from Midway. Damn, I hate paying hazmat fees, but I just can’t find powder in the stores!

I’m with ya on that. I’m sure I just overpaid for a 5# jug of Reloader 17 but I haven’t been able to find any in at least a year and I was down to my last 1# single. I use it in multiple calibers.

Do you lube everything that pivots?

Ive noticed the “line up pin” near the handles stick often, lube that as well?

    Thanks
I don't lube the sprue plate. I suppose you can. You'd have to take out the screw and lube the bushing. I just lube the alignment pins.

I got my neighbor RK, who worships at the altar of Tim Taylor, to torch the cutter head off my old trimpro cutter shaft so I could attach it to the new new shaft I got from RCBS under warranty!

I got brass cooking in the pin tumbler so I can trim my 38spec then get back to casting tomorrow.

Loaded up a ladder of loads from min to max with 160gr TTSX bullets for my 338 Federal savage bolt gun.

Barnes data shows a 4 grain spread from 40-44 grains of reloader 7.

Not looking for extreme accuracy, just looking to see how fast can push the little ones.

Also ordered some 185gr bonded soft points for my next work up.

Making some blue 10mm. Yesterday and today I sized 1k 9mm and 500 10mm. Today I primed the 9mm but my.hands hurt from using the hand primer so the 10mm will have to wait for primers.

Also gotta add. The Hornady quick trickle is the best reloading purchase I have made in a long time.

My daughter was throwing and trickling quicker than I could seat the bullets.
