    Twilight Zone
While true, there are firearms that sell for much more at auctions that aren't safe to fire one round out of because they could blow apart.

This isn't about buying a daily carry, or even a range gun. It's comparable to buying one of the first prototype run of repeating rifles.

I remember reading somewhere that when Colt's Double Eagle flopped and nearly bankrupted the company, they couldn't afford to pay the designer and instead made a deal to give him all of their prototypes (including machine guns) gathering dust in storage. At the time they considered it all to be rusting junk anyway. It is now worth a King's ransom.

I've seen rusted up SS daggers sell for thousands, and they made a lot more of those than 100. Will these ever increase in value, or become worthless junk? I guess waiting around to find out has finally given me something to live for. :p
