Today, we just bought my wife a Walther PPS-M2 for her birthday. Pretty sweet little pistol. She was going to go with an M&P Shield and then decided the Walther felt better.

I bought an Air Arms TX200 MkII air rifle for Air Rifle Silhouette and possibly at-home practice. (Not sure if I have the space for it but at least there is a possibility.)

My club (Bayou Rifles) is holding the Texas state air rifle silhouette championship next month and for better or worse I'm signing up. Good pressure to get in as much practice as possible. Luckily the pellets are so inexpensive compared to the mid-grade 22LR I shoot for Smallbore (SK Standard Plus at $56/500 vs. a tin of 500 pellets for around $10!)

It's possible the .25 would be too much energy and could damage the resettable targets, but I'm too new to air rifle to know for sure. I could ask the match director if you're really interested.

My 228 is my favorite pistol by far. It has had some work done by a special ops guy, but I have no idea what he did. Butter. Its that smooth.

Was not today, but picked up an FNH FNS9 compact from a fellow member here. Shot it for the first time a couple days ago and all I can say is AMAZING. Ergos, grip texture, sights and trigger are excellent!
