On a missed opportunity. Several years ago on Craigslist (I know that doesn't happen, HA) a Colt NM in Stainless Series 70. Serial # 1 in the box never fired. $2500. I wanted but couldn't swing it at the time. A few minutes later the ad was pulled. I often wonder what happened to it. It had a picture and all so no doubt it was legit.

So today, I get a notice from the post office that my package with my guns just left the Rochester, NY postal facility and is in transit whereas on Monday they kept showing it would be delivered before 8PM on Monday. Now there is no anticipated delivery date showing. I am wondering why they sat in the Rochester facility for 3 days but as long as they arrive okay I am good with that.

The mail is all jacked up right now.
Corona has many workers out or working in other areas.
I’ve several EBay packages on the way and they’re all way behind and tracking isn’t updating.
It’s frustrating but they normally get where they’re supposed to.

I expect they are going to get here okay but regardless of that expectation I am always a little anxious about guns being shipped to me and more so when they get delayed. I guess though this virus stuff has everything screwed up.

    It does.
And don’t forget the USPS is the USPS.
    They’re slow anyway.
I’m watching a package coming to me right now.
It was supposed to be here on Monday.
The seller sent it on the 3rd.
It sat in the same postal office for six days. After that tracking went dark. It showed up on tracking last night at the post office 30 miles from the origin point.
Oh well. At least it’s moving.
It might get here late next week.

Got wind of a used STI Guardian up for sale in KY at a killer price....made a phone call, did a little haggling - and it's on the way to me. Should be in next week.....my NY resolution to slow down on buyin' .45's ain't workin' out too well.....lol Now with a "backup" to my other Guardian, I won't be so hesitant to put it in my EDC rotation.

    Very nice indeed!

I finally broke my 45 addiction. I ordered my first 1911 not in 45, but in 38 Super yesterday!
