That will make a good backpack gun. My super shorty AR comes in at 21.75 collapsed.

I’m hoping to fit it in my coat in the winter

It is a 1 in 9. Once I get the stock back from Bell and Carlsons, I will try out some 70+ gr factory ammo I have sitting around and let you know how it does with them

Finding 223 in anything larger than 55 gr is hard to come by. I did find 2 boxes of 69 gr and bought both of them. My Ruger 14 target/ranch has the 1 in 9 also and likes 70 gr + better than than the 55 gr.

Federal match with 69 g Sierra Match Kings is a pretty good round. I've never had problems stabilizing the 69g SMK's with my handloads in 1:9 twist rifles.

I haven't bought anything on line since my credit card was compromised a couple of years ago. I might have to start start buying on line again to get what ammo I need/want.
