Funny there was a surplus military case of 1260 rounds posted here some time back that didn't sell for $300. I picked it up then, and feel lucky I did. If you were local I would give you a few boxes.

Yes. .308 is the higher power ammo vs 7.62x51. Just the reverse in AR15 where 5.56 is higher power than .223. If rifle says .223 technically should not use 5.56. If rifle says .308 you can use 7.62x51.

Coated screws so it wont scratch anything. They have some sort of soft rubber coat on them

Stopped at scheels. Scored some ammo and small rifle primers. Been looking for a .45-70 and decided today was the day. I thought I wanted a side gate but after getting a chance to see how the tube feed works, I was sold.

Scheels is really outstanding. They always have something in stock as far as ammo or reloading supplies and their gun prices have remained the same throughout this entire bullshit.

There is also a short blonde who works there as a manager and she is smoking hot
