My shipment from Palmetto State Armory came in today, an AR-9 pistol. Takes Glock magazines.

I added a Vortex Red Dot and a flash can. Waiting on my back up sights to get here.

Where did you order from, if you don't mind saying?
I bought it on gunbroker. It was not $699.00, but no gun shops are selling it for close to MSRP. PSA was asking over $1000.00 and it went in seconds; GrabaGun had one earlier today for a few minutes at $1099. A shop here in San Antonio was selling it for $1400.00. I got mine for $950. More than I wanted to pay but it had just been listed with that BIN.

New addition to the family. The P22 cracked slide thread kicked me in the nuts. But hoping this will be a great suppressor host.

I got my Magnum Research MR1911css back from the smith replacing the MIM parts with good tool steel parts. Shoots very well . Target is 3 mags at 3 yards and 3 mags at 7 yards 4 types of duty ammo free hand. View attachment 286739 View attachment 286741

I recently picked one of these up, which parts are MIM?
Asking so I can do the same.
It's a beautiful gun, did you not like the factory grips?

First off which model did you buy? BUL who makes the pistols take a Government slide and cuts it down. The frame sits in between a government and a commander frame length. The commander uses the bushing less bull barrel to keep a bushing barrel set up from pounding itself to death. The only non mim part is the firing pin. I replaced everything else but non load bearing, ie grip safety , plunger tube , mag release, and trigger. The grips are a John Harrison design. The grip is not aggressive enough to tear your clothes but when you grip the grip the groves allow you to grip better but as soon as you release your grip a little you can manipulate the controls as needed without the grips sticking to your hand. It works well. Anymore more questions I will be happy to answer. Also if you buy parts for their commander the part will need to be government parts. I also had a Wilson combat 4" flat spring guide rod setup. Love it.
