Ordered this squirrel shooter last night from my FFL. Ultimate plan is teaching my two grandkids how to shoot. it’s the basic H0001 model. My Grandson always wants to see and handle my Big Boy in .357 when he is over. He is 11 my Grand Daughter is 9.

Very versatile rifle since you have the option of 22s/22l/22lr. Plus lever guns are always cool.
These two should each have a genuine Colt SAA on their side.

Yea they should but a little young for that… in the future, if gramps has the lettuce, yea… probably skip Colt and go with Ruger Blackhawks….

Purchased this today, a Pietta Great Western II in .357 magnum and 9mm.
It feels pretty nice, the only thing I do not like are the plastic grips, it will need something different. Very weighty piece of steel!

Bought a 10/22 “tactical” tonight. I bought a vortex strike eagle with mount from PSA for $160 a couple weeks ago (price fluke) and figured I would buy a .22 to go along with it and have my kid shoot it. I have a much nicer Bergara carbon fiber .22 rifle but I thought this would be better to just beat around and not worry about it.

@TexasRedneck, nice, my only exception is the stippling, I do not find it visually appealing. But for function I am sure it will work as it should.
