Generally, yeah. But you can make the situation worse if you're really stupid and try really hard. The linked incident happened at the Hicksville TGT Homecoming a few years ago.A 360PD with 125gr is one of the few guns that are lethal both directions
That is an interesting story. What’s his screen name?Generally, yeah. But you can make the situation worse if you're really stupid and try really hard. The linked incident happened at the Hicksville TGT Homecoming a few years ago.
Yeah I don't know eitherThat is an interesting story. What’s his screen name?
You're kidding, right?Yeah I don't know either
Yeah I keep Underwood 125gr 38Spl+P Gold Dots in mine. I leave the full powah shooting for the full size frames. One snubby that I hated at first was a Ruger SP101. 38spl were somewhat doable for a while but full power 357mag were too much. I couldn't shoot a whole cylinder of 5 without the thigh guard cutting my finger. It wasn't a bad cut just enough to drive you crazy enough to stop.
Not this time I really have no idea who it is.You're kidding, right?

One might assume the person who linked the story due to name and the use of lots of words, but he made no reference to it being his story.Well, I'll leave it to them to tell you, if they want.
Not my place.
I also have a fondness for 3" revolvers for some reason. My 3" model 60 in .38 spl and my Taurus 94 in .22LR make a nice pair.Yes but there are exceptions.
An all-steel, 3" .38 can be a very, very fun range toy. I love mine. S&W has occasionally made .22 Kit Guns with 5" barrels; I 'd like to own one so that I can discover for myself if it's as much a fun range toy as I suspect.
I think I have about 7 or 8 snubbies (3" or less), most in .38spl. Of the several that are in .357mag, I have never fired mags in them; .38 is enough. My 2-cents:
These light snubbies are no fun with magnum rounds.
My K6s is a 357, and it didn’t take very long to realize how painful shooting 357 is - my ego wouldn’t let me stop until I shot all 6, but I paid for it for days afterward. It’s only good for shooting 38s. I wouldn’t even carry it loaded with 357.
I have an SP101 also. Ruger knocked it out of the park with the SP101 line - very fine revolvers! The SP 101 is not too bad with full power 357, if you have a Hogue or Pachmeyer grip. The Hogue works best, but is too large.
I generally shoot +p, but 357 is not too bad with the pachmeyer. Mine is a 3 inch model.
With factory grips, it is a bit painful.
I've got a 3" version of that gun. I've never found it all that unpleasant even with .357 125gr SD loads. Snappy yes, but not painful. Maybe it's the grips? I tossed the little things that came with it and put on some nice, meaty grips on it.One snubby that I hated at first was a Ruger SP101. 38spl were somewhat doable for a while but full power 357mag were too much. I couldn't shoot a whole cylinder of 5 without the thigh guard cutting my finger. It wasn't a bad cut just enough to drive you crazy enough to stop.
Just be careful not to hold it like a rifle! LOLI just bought this thing recently. I saw it in The Hateful Eight and have been resisting the urge to get one ever since. I lost that fight and finally bought one. I need to pick up one of those 45 Colt conversion cylinders for it now.
Uberti calls it an 1858 Carbine, but if you want to be correct about it, it's a Remington 1866 Revolving Rifle.
