This is the 1/3 scale M37 anti-tank gun in .50 BMG I bought earlier in the month from one of our members @usmcmpi. He actually built it and did a damn fine job, imho.....

The action is a single shot .50 BMG made by the East Ridge Gun Company who makes .50 BMG target rifles. usmcmpi sent an M2HB barrel to them and they fitted the barrel to their action. I did not buy the scope he had mounted and am currently looking at scope and mounting options to include a small RDS mounted atop the scope for closer targets.

The barrel is mounted in a unique and very strong mount. As you can see the mounting blocks actually capture to the barrel preventing movement.

The plate is 10 ga and not rifle rated and for looks only....

The muzzle device is from a 20mm cannon and attached with an M2HB flash hider mount. I added the Snek...

The skids are fully functional and lift the tires off the ground just as the original M37

The traverse and elevation are adjustable as on the original. He thoughtfully put Zerk fittings on almost everything....

When you have the T&E set, you simply use this lever to lock everything in place and keep you on target.

    20231227_125252.jpg

The legs fold out (again like the original) for firing and the slides keep everything aligned.

Remove the T-pin and everything slides apart....

Gas assist is a nice touch..................

Secure ammo storage is also pretty cool....

Wow, great craftsmanship, I would love to have seen the build of this unique gun. It's got an anti-tank gun vibe to it, looks great. There was a WWII 20mm German infantry gun that they rolled around on tiny wheels like that but the name escapes me. I think it would look sweet with an anti-aircraft sight ring on it.

They are awesome. They dont do enough sales volume in Texas to hit the internet sales tax requirement.
Not to hijack this thread, but they have been consistently cheaper on mags when I’ve looked over the past year or two. I was always leary about buying from them because the price always seemed too good. No issues with them at all? I may give them a try…

I have bought firearms from them with zero issues. I have not bought any accessories or any of their inventory that is listed as on hand, its all been drop shipped from a warehouse, but would not hesitate to do so.

Well, I may be done with this thread after tomorrow. You see, my New Year's resolution this year is to never buy one more gun, not one more box of ammo and not one more gun accessory during this year. I'll let you know how that works out but best I can recall, I have never stuck to a New Year resolution:). Heck usually don't make em but this year I need some way to save up cash to bring my somewhat depleted life savings back up to where it was prior to this year's spending of $15,843.18 at online auction houses, online ammo dealers and gun shows. Then there was spending at places like Academy Sports, firearms insurance, cleaning supplies, all which I am guessing totaled up to a a couple or a few grand more. Now that amount may be prohibitive for some and easy on the pocketbook of others but when it comes to my funds though - I've gotta slow down or sell a lot more stuff at higher prices than the prices I normally accept for guns & ammo. Since I am not likely to sell at higher prices (I sell to recoup money spent, so I often sell at cost or a bit above to pay for the tables, also sell at a loss all too often) , I guess my New Year resolution is the key. Time & my bank account will tell how that works out.

I found this Gold Cup Lite in 9mm at the Pasadena gun show yesterday. I picked it up, put it down and walked around the entire show looking at AR's with a friend. I asked my husband to please give me a reason not to buy this $$$ pistol. His response was "well, you don't have a Gold Cup in 9mm...." I have other GC's in .45 and love them. The "Lite" designation is nonsense; it just isn't as detailed as a normal GC but I'm ok with that. The dealer is Norman Armory out of Needville and the price was high, a little over $1k.
