Work in progress.
Where is the range report?!?!?!
That looks too nice to shoot.Bought a rifle off my wish list. Winchester model 94 30-30 SRC with case hardened receiver. It was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive.

From what I've heard, they are excellent guns. I'd like to handle and shoot one in person.Ah okay I see what you mean.

Those are the more recent ones I believe. The Japanese company that makes all the new/ old Winchester lever guns.
Well, we're talking about yours. More details please. I'll have plenty of ammo for you at the end of next month. All I can offer is a lowly JM stamped Marlin. Those are the more recent ones I believe.
My dad had a very nice 1955 octagon barreled one that I shot as often as I could, unfortunately my stepmother wouldn't give it to me when he died. I bought a 1955 model 94, although not octagon, in 1979, but it got stolen in the 80's. Ever since then I wanted to get another, but for one reason or another never got around to it. I've been looking, but finding another 1955 is just way too expensive. I settled on the one pictured more on it's looks and it's price.I just want to shoot a 94 since I never have.
My older brother has a Marlin in 30-30 that I have shot a lot but it's not a Winchester.

I will post my own pictures when it arrives, I did buy some ammo for it. Plus of course I'll bring it next month. The one thing I didn't want was the ones they made with the external safety. Stupid idea, when the original design has the lever safety.Well, we're talking about yours. More details please. I'll have plenty of ammo for you at the end of next month.
