10 boxes of FN 5.7x28mm 27 Grain HP 50Rd Box SS195LF to go with my KelTec P50 coming in today! Last ammo order was cancelled due to OOS even though it showed in stock. Oh well got this cheaper too.
Arrived today! Man are those tiny cartridges! Didn't realise they were "that" small. First ammo of this kind I have seen in person.

Over the last few days, I picked up this stuff:

    1.jpg

A 200 round box of Winchester .223 (today)

    A 200 round box of Winchester 5.56 M855 (today)

Field Survival tool - not really gun stuff but from a gun show (today)

    Anderson Manufacturing carbine stock (yesterday)

No name carbine buffer tube kit (yesterday)

The above were all purchased at the Texarkana, AR gun show. I also got Santa's bag at the gun show yesterday. It is almost definitely going to contain some gun stuff: that survival tool (unless I decide to gift it to myself) and that crossbow, and whatever else under my son's tree this Christmas. If I later decide otherwise, the bag will go to my grandson in NY (sadly no guns stuff in it if that becomes the case).

Just something to point out, the 223 & 5,56 ammo were both priced under what they are currently sold for at Academy. Got them both, and the survival tool, for an out the door total of $225. Their sticker prices at the show were 223=$100, 5.56=$120 and the tool+$15. Not good compared to old prices but pretty good compared to today's prices at Academy, for instance the 5.56 is selling for $139.99 plus tax at my local store and the 223 is going for $129.99 on the Academy website. Good deals are still to be had at gun shows if you look long and hard, at least good deals by today's retail prices.

I also bought the following at Academy on Wednesday & Thursday:

    Five (5) boxes of 12 gauge 00 buckshot, 2 3/4"

A 250 round box of Aguila 22LR ammo, copper plated solid points (already in my range bag out in my car, so not in the photo)

2 boxes of Remington 9mm FMJ (also already in my range bag out in my car, so not in the photo)

Also picked up the crossbow yesterday at Academy (I wonder if that is suitable for a 5 year old)

Couldn’t pass on the Silencerco BOGO promo, my Omega 36m came in today, but all I get for 8-12 months is the sticker lol

I just ordered a Christmas present from me to me. A Vortex Solar Sparc red dot sight.

A nice price at 50% of MSRP with free shipping. Came out to $218.49 total. I have seen them at Academy Sports for $279.99 in the past and at Expert Voice at $249.99 (both plus tax); so, I am very tempted to order a second one at this price. Ordered it through ExpertVoice, the current 50% off sale runs for about another 15 days.
