Bought a box of 220 swift to try out the new to me mauser

The mention of a 220 Swift brings back fond memories of using one to turn crows into feathery puffs of red mist.

Those were fun days.

Went to the grand opening of Range USA in Richmond. Picked up the obligatory 3 boxes 9mm for $10.99 each and got a free hat too. Also a coupe pistol rugs I got off eBay were delivered

Bought this all yesterday 150rds 38spec federal lrn, 10rds snake shot, 1791 iwb leather holster at academy in round rock.

Online I got some ons s&w magna wood grips with a Tyler T-grip,Classic lee loader, 1K CCI small pistol primers.

My neighbor gave me an old 5.56 ammo can he found in his shed. Said his dad had it for as long as he can remember. My neighbor is 79 years old so if his dad had it, it probably came from ‘nam lol. Seal still looks good but I’ll probably just use it for extra range ammo.
