My sister babysits her 2 year old grandchild.
They give her their cell phone to "look at the pictures"

she found a group text that I was listed on at 7:30 this morning and started three round burst texting my phone when I had work calls going on my work phone and home contractors calling that phone!
32 messages in 20 minutes before we could get hold of them on their house phone to put a stop to it


Keep the damn phone away from the kids folks

I said that there had been a group text that my number was in.

The 2 yr old picked up the phone and got into the messaging and found that group message and started typing things like

over and over and over for 20 minutes, sending out these text to everyone in that group message

I don't know who taught the child to do it.

Group text . At work it can go on around the clock. I finally discovered the "do not disturb" option. I tried to leave several conversations but some dill hole would put me back in. That do not disturb deal works great.

Not only does my 2 year old know how to (and like to) text, if he happens across a locked phone he'll dig through the emergency contacts you setup and call them up. He knows not to call 911 at least.

Suffice to say, we watch our phones like a hawk.

Was stuck in Austin mega tard traffic taking one of the pack in for yearly check up.( after 10:00 am and still tons of stupid on the road) and saw an electronic billboard stating 2,000 something deaths on Texas roads in 2016.
