I’ve never shot an HK that wasn’t buttery smooth to run.

Isn’t that a fact, but dang they’re not cheap !!! I’ve just got to remember to change that plastic bushing on the guide rod after so many rounds

That’s only on the compacts. The full sizes have a double recoil spring and no plastic bushings. They run even smoother because the slide never hits a “mechanical stop”, it just rides the springs.

I am researching to purchase one. thinking about HK45T V7 LEM

    what is yours?

    your opinion is appropriated.
I have the Sig P227 compact.
I have also had an HK 45 USP.
    I would recommend either.

Only one choice IMO, Glock 21.

It will shoot any ammo you can jam into it, and it is very accurate.

Sure.I'm sure there are those that will say their medieval SAA or antique-defunct-technology 1911s or their newfangled plastic HK are better.

    I say claptrap!

If a .45 cap-n-ball was good enough for Texas Ranger Captain Sam Hamilton Walker it's good enough for me.

My dream open-carry pistol would be an original Colt Walker packed full of Bullseye or Unique pistol powder but, alas, I' likely never find one at a reasonable price so I'll have to make do with my vintage Ruger cap and ball.

I've stocked up on caps and old wheel weights and if TSHTF I can make my own black powder.

If Ranger Walker were alive today, he'd travel to Austria and help Gaston design the next model.....

    ....the Walker Glock.

Everybody has an opinion, so did you actually get any useful information or just opinions? So here is my opinion: get a firearm you can shoot accurately with.
