    Leatherman Pocket knife at the moment. Compact but legit. Occasionally I'll bring out either my Swiss Army 'Ranger' knife I got in Switzerland or my grandfather's pocket knife with old deer antler for a handle.

    As an ex-Surgeon, I find that most “hunting knives” are way too large for their intended purposes.

    The only large pocket knives I have are those used for incidental “brush cutting” around our large yard.

    My “yard cart” carries both a full size axe and a machete.

    There are some real cutlery experts on this board, but I’m not one. Just a frequent “user” of knives.
