    Less than 1% probably.

At one time it was closer to 5% or more, but with the economy how it is, the big money stopped coming in but the bills didn't. I trade/ buy/ sell guns alot and have hoards of reloading supplies so it isn't like I don't rotate or shoot much, but my extra cash has a higher priority in mind.

somewhere between 5-10%, majority on reloading components and next would be new/new to me guns. I like to have an ample supply of ammo on hand.

I'd say 5-10% (of take-home, not earnings). I try to buy ammo every other week. Don't always make that, but then I buy a new gun every now and then which probably keeps it in that range.

I had not thought about it until now...

This year was an anomoly. Maybe 20%?

In the past 12 months, I've bought 17 guns, 1 suppressor, 1 safe, and many thousands of rounds. I also bought a monster engagement ring, so that should give me a pass for a while...

I've never really added it up. Some months it may be 50%, but averaging it out over the year it's around 12% (net not gross). Damn... The amount I spend on guns themselves doesn't really bother me, but I don't like thinking about it when I include how much is spent on ammo

It's weird because the average would prob be only 2-3%(ammo,range fees) but I usually get one new gun a year which skews that.
