Once you get past accidents, disease and other lethal possibilites you too may get to be in the 'old people' club............

Not too difficult now a days. People aren't dropping dead once they hit 40.

As a society we've managed to largely remove natural selection, a back of a lego box or a plastic bag is all the evidence you need.

Being old doesn't make you special. It just makes you old.

    Gunz are icky.
And yet I know a guy who recently had a heart attack and died at 46.

Its really odd how some folks health is so whacked out.
I work with a guy who to look at appears very healthy.
    Tall and slim. Early fifties.
He wears the same waist size pants he wore in high school. Not a bit of flab. Doesn’t smoke or drink.
His cholesterol numbers are insane! He is a walking heart attack. Blood pressure way high.

My best bud died at 43 from sudden death syndrome.

Another friends son died at 33 from the same thing.

There are rarely any symptoms or indications for this horror. You're here now and gone in a few minutes. Bang, your dead.

Now too, we have to hope some random idjit isn't texting while driving and you end up his/her random road kill.....

Accidents get a whole slew of younger people, not just from driving or hold my beer and watch this' accidents either.

Those who feel a certain sense of smugness about their youth are often hoist by their own petard in one form of another and end up doing a premature dirt nap.....

Longevity isn't always up to medicine or eating right or having designer genes.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to live long, it simply doesn't happen and buh-bye.
