I had a chocolate brownie for dessert, skipped dinner. Then drank a bottle of Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages (very unusual that I drink more than a 5 ounce glass or two on any day). Also drank a couple of bottles of water. Somewhere in there, I took a couple of pain pills for my screaming lower back & right hip, the pain came on hard & fast with the drastic weather change after last night's storms. Feeling mostly better now but just walked the mongrel and may need a few more aspirin to quell the pain that just developed while walking the last half mile of a mile walk. That's the last mile of the night/wee hours of the morning. Probably will have a hearty breakfast later today when the sun is up.
My ex mother in law loved that stuff.
    Wine bothers my stomach.

Found some small Japanese eggplant still growing in the garden, along with some cherry tomatoes. Panfried the eggplant with a small white tater and a piece of sausage, some tomatoes and avocado for salad, and it was wonderful.

    Here
For SUPPER today I am fixing a recipe that my late friend gave me.

    Ingredients:
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 large onion
    1 can diced tomatoes
    2 cans original Rotel
    3 cans Ranch Style beans

Brown the beef and sausage in a large skillet with the onion and drain it. Add the tomatoes, Rotel and beans. Heat until it is hot.

    Serve with crackers.
