Might want to add the new Remington 51.

I don't care if their marketing materials explicitly say that it's for women, I really like the looks of the STI Elektra. I might get one, the brighter the polish and the wilder the colors, the better.

the only thing "girlie" about the Elektras is the Pink grip choice - we have 2 - a Pink in 9mm which belongs to my Wife & a Black in .45 which is mine

matter of fact we took the 2 of 'em to the range yesterday and put 50 rounds thru each (it was their time in our rotation) (they're still sitting on the breakfast table, waiting for me to clean 'em.....later today :) )

(when nobody was lookin', I shot a magazine thru the Pink one)

So, whisky, did the color choice make a difference?

I am thinking a Ruger Black Hawk .357 Magnum but I have not decided if I want to look for the old ones or a newer one. That long, long barrel made me feel comfortable at anything I was aiming at. Not sure if I was overcompensating.

Also think I am going to look for a replica CS Richmond Cavalry Carbine and possibly a 1/2 scale 6 pounder if I can convince my wife it is a good choice for home defense.

Do you know if they all have short triggers or can they be had with long triggers? I couldn't tell from the promo material I was examining.

sorry, don't know - I would bet that STI doesn't offer a trigger option - probably have to go with Brazos or Dawson (or..) for a trigger change (they all have what I consider a long, ghosted trigger)
