An XD40 service, and a cz 75 .40cal. all loaded with hydrashoks. An 870 exp 12 ga with 00B. I'll soon have a mossy 500 for hd and the 870 will not be the hd shotgun after that.
Somewhere down the line I want an M4 style carbine and an 870 with the extended tube (8 shot),tritium ghost ring sights 20" barrel and a weapon light mounted to the whole thing.

    Hello.

At the present time, besides the S&W Model 642 in my pocket, one of these is almost always very close...

    S&W Model 64 w/2" bbl...

    RevolverBookModel10-6CarryGun001.jpg

    S&W Model 10 w/4" bbl..

Both of these revolvers are DAO by choice and both are loaded with Remington 158-gr. LHP +P.

    Best.

Remington 1187 semi auto 12 guage with 10 round extended mag tube and Ruger P89D 9mm with extended mag using Black Talons. Springfield Champion 45 in another location of the house and a Remington 870 pump in another location of the house. Yet, I still dont think I have it all covered!

My current home defense nightstand gun is a Springer Loaded Champion 4-inch 1911, night sights, loaded with PowR'Ball ammunition ... Will be moving to Hornady Critical Defense in .45 when it's available. As for my ideal HD gun, I would love a 5-inch custom 1911, maybe from Wilson or Nighthawk ... raising money by selling my blood is taking a while, sadly ... :) I keep a Taurus 617 (7-shot .357 snubbie) hidden in a living room cabinet and it's usually with me during the day as I move around the house. Loaded with .38 Spcl +p Critical Defense rounds ...

Either a remington 870 12 gauge magnum with 00 buck or my favorite glock model - the 21 (13-14) rds. of .45 in a nice durable, reliable, solid brick - that should keep you safe

Shotguns. A Savage 20ga pump in 3 inch and a Mossberg 12ga bolt in 3 inch. A bolt action shotgun for home defense? It's what I got.

    Dallas Texas or so
Well first they have to get by the moat. Then the claymores and the attack dog. By then, the wife has her frying pan full of hot grease.....So based on that, I'd choose a gease gun.
