Indeed, but most of those hearses are not Crowns, they are built on the Century platform. Here's some pics of same I snapped when my wife and I were there this past summer picking up our Century. Shown are Century, Rolls, and Cadillac in these pics.

EDIT: these funeral service vehicles were of particular interest to my wife and her co-workers as she works in the industry.
Well, that sent me on a long goose chase.
Now I want a Japanese fire truck.
    Dammit.

Very nice pics, those things are intriguing.

Just saw this 2 door Landcruiser on my way home from work.
Didn’t get a good look at it but I’d wager it also has recently been imported. I love the influx of old Japanese 4x4’s I’ve been seeing lately. There’s also a small turbocharged RHD Mitsubishi 4x4 I’ve spotted on a couple occasions.

I own two 70-series Landcruisers very similar to the one you just pictured. ;)

Man you’re just living the life! I’ve only ever seen another one in person in Karachi with government plates on it

I began with LandCruisers back in 1992 with my first FJ40. It wasn't long thereafter that I started lusting after the diesel Cruisers that we were denied here in the States. I think I've had five diesel LandCruisers in the interim period, but only own a couple at the moment. I've got a LHD Danish Search & Rescue BJ75 Troopy with a turbo'd 3B 3.4 liter diesel, and a UK-spec short-wheel-base 70-series with the 1KZ-T 3.0 liter turbodiesel.

The new NSX is a lot like the old NSX - an attractive and easy to live with "sports car" for old white men.

Eh, not really... the original was a sports car that focused on driving enjoyment. The new one is just a technology showcase.

    I think you’re both right.

It’s an “everyday supercar” that’s at home in a track, that you can also drive to the grocery store as easily as an Accord.

That’s sorta been the knock on it, it’s a bit too easy thanks to all the tech.

The mid engine design, the copious use of lightweight alloys in suspension components, the 'anyone can drive this fast' handling dynamics, etc. I'd say the early NSX shared the technology showcase title as well. In its era it definitely stood out from its peers.

I dunno, you drive an old NSX and you can actually feel the car. The new one just feels like a fast appliance.
...and mid engine handling dynamics isn't a panacea. People who didn't know how to drive still got snap oversteer in the old NSX. In the new one that's not possible; the car won't let you.
