By some accounts, Walmart stopped posting .22 LR on their Walmart.com site a few days ago.

Seems they got tired of folks showing up early to buy all they could when the website showed "in stock."

When the website was wrong, customers got a bit out of joint at about the time (7:00 a.m) I sipped my first cup of coffee in the morning.

Cabelas in Ft. Worth has a bunch of .22lr. Norma, target and Match both in 50 rd boxes or the bulk packs, Ely target and match, CCI standard, Federal bulk match and some others I can't remember. Also they upped their limit on 50rd and 100 rd boxes to 500 rounds.

lol. actually my friend got 2 boxes of federal hydra shocks (25 ct) for $15/ea.

new bass pro in round rock also has/had .22lr. i saw a lot of neckbeards there on fathers day though.

Visited Cabela's in Buda today.

Had a sign over the .22 Caliber shelf that said: "No Limit on .22 LR as of 6/16/15."

They had CCI Blazer Bricks of 500, Federal Auto Match 325 count, and a whole shelf of CCI Mini-Mag HP in the 100 round plastic boxes.

While I looked at the selection, an employee walked up to me and said: "Better get all you can because the shelves were empty yesterday."

I grabbed two bricks of the Blazer and went on about my business.

It has been so long that I saw bricks, I figured taking two would be icing on the cake.

They also had some of the "choot em" 300 rounders. Had the wife with me so was able to score a box of federal and "choot em".
