I need a 10mm handgun. Which one do you like?

Being sophisticated, I lean towards the Glock 40. I am open to suggestions.

I'd like a Bren Ten, but those are pricey and hard to come by. Of course everything is hard to come by these days.

I'd lean toward a steel frame 1911 design, but that's just me. And why just stop at 10? I know a local gunsmith that has a 1911 in 50 cal. (not a ma duece cartridge, but a pistol cartridge)

I don't have any 10mm ammo. The way things are right now it will be whatever I can find.

    I prefer Underwood.
    Also Buffalo Bore.
Sig is about the only good off the shelf stuff.

I've told the story before of chronographing some 10mm off the shelf, and WWB .40S&W.
The .40 was actually a few FPS faster.

Ruger GP100 or Kimber long slide 1911 have been my two favorites in The Centimeter.

The Glock 40 is compelling though with its capacity.

I have a Colt Delta Elite (my cheap Colt at $350) and a Rock Island in 10mm. They both shoot well for me but I am certain they can perform better than I am capable of shooting.
