Actually,,,, we don't.
Otherwsise they would be to terrorized to attack anyone. And we all no that is not the case.
Nobody can instill fear in anyone. They chose to be terrified or not to be. I am not terrified of criminals. I just choose to carry a gun to hopefully be better prepared to defend myself from them. I don't do anything to terrorize people. If they are that scared at the sight of a skinny old man with a gun on his hip then they have a problem, not me.
