Allred had nothing to do with VA hosp. in Garland. Baylor moved out, Garland couldn't find a buyer. Trump got ticked at VA and got the ball rolling. All before Allred went to VA committee. Hagan got shot down. So what. H.S. buddy married with kid on the way, drafted, got to be a Nam medivac chopper pilot, 2-3 purple hearts & rescued. He's voting for Trump. Stuff happens, get over it.

American Indian casinos - what a crock. The solution to the American Indian 'problem' is to stop giving them Fed $. Then they will get out of the dump reservations, get sober and become Americans. Similar to the getto problems in cities. I am NOT dis-respecting native Americans! They get conned by their leadership (who make bundles off gambling and it doesn't go back to the constituents). Did the lottery help your financial position? Did it (as SHE said it would) help schools? Nope. Does it add money to the state coffers? Yup. My wife calls it the stupidity tax.
Notice today the the texas republican boss is now against Abbott for his lockdown policies. Another crock. I am not against West but his complaint is wrong. Abbott has actually been very lenient and trys to open up stuff as rapidly as safely possible. Cities and county Gov did most of the 'lockdown'. As we have NO cure, lock down and masks are the only tools he has available! Did he lock out churches? Eateries? Schools? Left up to locals. GOAL WAS TO PREVENT THE PROBLEM FROM OVERWHELMING HEATHCARE FACILITIES and worked. Bars? Working to resolve that too.
Hairdresser that went to jail for not closing? I won't vote for her. Self serving tripe.
Middle aged friend took wife to hosp as she was not feeling well, neg to china flu. Few days later he's pos for china flu. Both forced quarantined four weeks now - medical prescription - asprin! Feeling better 2 days ago but not up to par yet. Basically tired, no appetite, no energy at all.

    Agree on casinos.

Strongly disagree on Abbott. Even the hospitals in NYC were never overwhelmed. Navy sent a hospital ship, Samaritan's Purse set up a field hospital. Not one single patient was seen at either.

Let the hospitals manage their patient load, they do it all the time. They would have started to limit non-critical patient load if they saw virus loads mounting.

Sweden did fine with no lockdowns or masks. The lockdowns have severely damage the economy, lives, livelihoods in a way that will take over a decade from which to recover. More people have been hurt than have been helped. Don't buy into the politically driven, liberal media driven hysteria.

Anyone not voting for Cornyn at the final election is an idjit. You want a different candidate do that shit in the primary. That's what the phucking thing is there for.

Fools and their country are easily separated. They scream about principles as an excuse not to participate and work for change and in the process hasten that which they bitch most about. What's worse than Cornyn or any Republican at any level in a final election? The destruction of america caused by the marxists and socialists controlling our government.

If you cant vote for him vote against the worst possible, outcome a dem controlled senate.

    IMHO OFCOURSE.

That's only if they get control of the senate. Presuming they would not, then it's definitely worse to let the old wood rot it from the inside than to replace it with garbage who will get themselves replaced with a potentially decent conservative in the next election. See Lizzie Fletcher (and note the "potentially" - it's not a guarantee).

What you are dealing with is some so called conservatives senators that you don't like and would like replaced with "better" conservatives and a stack of liberal democrats being financed by Soros and Bloomberg and other socialist groups that will replace our less than ideal conservative group with a new progressive senate. Look at Susan Collins in Maine, not a very conservative senator but look at her replacement if she looses.
The primary is the place to change our senators. Cornyn will win (I hope) but the question is will the senate stay republican or will the likes of Bernie Sanders be in charge? Think of Bernie or Schumer in charge of the senate. That is why you are voting for Cornyn.

That line of thinking ignores the bigger picture of what flipping a red Senate seat in Texas would do to bolster the Democrat war effort both here and nationally.

There is a tremendous amount of pressure being placed on Texas nationally to turn it blue because they know how vital it is to flipping the country. We're already turning more and more purple as it is.

Bear in mind also the importance of the Senate in confirming judicial nominations. Losing a Senate seat is much more impactful than a House seat.

you simply must vote for Cornyn. I don't like the RINO but...

a vote for anything other than JC only gives MJ Hegar a better chance of taking the win

and EVERYBODY knows we can't have any more Marxist democrats in the Congress.

I will take anything that isn't a democrat, and the libertarian in this race simply doesn't stand a chance since I had never even heard the name, along with 99 percent of the voting population

your choices in this Senate election is JC and the democrat MJH. choose wisely.

You seem to be assuming that these senators won't vote leftist. But they are often turncoats. Keeping a RINO in office is as bad as having a leftist.

    That place east of Waco....
Would someone explain to me how a Republican who acts and votes like a statist Democrat is better than a Democrat that votes like a statist Democrat?.......and why I should have voted for either of them?
