I am not familiar with the manufacturing process, but why is it that there is a decent selection of Kimbers everywhere, but I might see one colt 1911 a month?
Do Kimbers just not sell, have they figured out distribution? Or what?
laugh how much?
like a lot? i mean - is it REALLY SUPER FUNNY - that custom thing
or just mildly amusing?
i see the small things in life really bother you
carry on!

Hrm. Such as a comment from an anonymous stranger on a public forum? Untwist your panties and chill out.
Unless you had your Kimber tailored made to your personal specifications during production, it can hardly be truly "custom." I'd expect that Kimber uses "custom" in the name of the gun to lead the consumer into believing they've purchased a pistol more special than it actually is. Surely you didn't fall for that clever piece of marketing did you? Perhaps you've now realized it and that's why you're selling?
Or do you also believe each Colt Combat Commander has actually been used in a firefight by a commanding officer of an Infantry unit?
Merriam-Webster (that would be a dictionary) defines the word "custom" as "1. (adj.) Made or performed according to personal order."
Is a Chevrolet Impala in reality an Antelope from Africa??
They are just names I would presume......
