Yeah, like Pence not kicking some of those election results back to the states.

There was another President that got elected that way once, maybe John Adams (don't remember exactly)... so it was in fact within Pence's authority to do that.

I’m pretty sure the Rs are going to do just fine.

I think it is worth holding your nose (if you need to) and voting for Abbott. He would likely win by a safe margin in a typical year, but it is hard to predict turnout with Roe being overturned.

In Kansas, the ballot initiative that would have allowed the legislature to make laws on abortion (overriding the state court) was polling ahead by a 4 points, but ended up losing by 18 points. Highly motivated young/liberal/female voters turned out disproportionately and flipped the vote.

Beto has plenty of money, and if he can drive turnout while Republicans take Abbott for granted, he could start to close the gap.

This just seems like a better safe than sorry kind of election.

    Perot's political legacy.
Yeah, thanks to Perot. Clinton won with like 43%. You think Perot pulled ANY democrat votes? ANY? Wasting you vote on a couldn't win unless all the other candidates died, is just that: A WASTED VOTE.
The primaries are OVER. This is not the time for more whining. Yeah, I'm not happy with Abbott's wait-and-see-the-polls technique. Dragging his feet until he can see if he will gain or lose votes. Got it.
Abbot won the primaries. I didn't vote for him in the primaries, but he will be the Republican on the ballot for the general elections. I’ll be voting for Abbott in the general election, because I am not going to screw around and watch BETO get into the office. You think we should vote for the "libertarian" candidate (they are all actually democrat libtards)? Or, don't vote at all, and let BETO win? Yeah, that'll show that rascal Abbott! He'll be sorry we didn't vote for him!!
Voting for some libtard “independent” “libertarian” spoiler like Ross Perot and see BETO elected with 42% of the vote like we did with Bill Clinton (TWICE), eh? Is that it? That'll teach Abbott a lesson, eh? The time for this bullshit was BEFORE the primaries. NOW it's time to get on board the Abbott Train. The REPUBLICAN Train. Unless you are just another leftist democrat or libtard shill, trying to split the Republican vote so your pal BETO will get elected, eh? Is that YOUR plan?

Yeah. Roe. The Aztec Temple Whores demand that we continue letting them murder children. They will vote for Hitler if he lets them continue to murder babies. That's just who they are.

Yep, but a rock in my boot is better than no foot.

I’ll be voting for Abbott in the general election, because I am not going to **** around and watch BETO get into the office. Hell, that miserable cyclops faggot, Crenshaw, won his primary too. If I was in his district he would get my vote in the general election because every democrat is something that I would scrap from the bottom of my boot.

You're, uh, chewing out the wrong guy with this part. I'm not one of the "take my toys and go home rather than vote for Abbot" crowd. You and I agree on the reason to hold your nose and vote for the RINO over the Beto.

Sorry, I didn't mean to chew anything. Just my usual rant when I think about Perot helping Clinton (TWICE) to get elected. Primaries are when we need to dump these foot-draggers and RINOs. I think Crenshaw wasn't primary'd because democrats voted for him in the primary. Lot of devious stuff going on, even here in Texas.

And there it is in a nut shell. Voting is the only legitimate way, at this point, to keep Beto out of office, vote. No fantasy, or tinfoil under the hat scenario can stop Beto, only a vote. This is the legitimate way to avoid the damage Beto will bring upon Texas. Is that not enough reason?
Honestly that Left Wing looney Beto should be kicked out of Texas along with all the Left Wing morons who want to vote for him.

We got a few of them left wing loonies trolling this form to
I just don't get it. California is a clear example of what happens to a state run by the Socialists and a Left Wing fool in Newsom. Beto is such a fool. Why would anybody want Texas to become California? High taxes, no gun rights (plenty of rights for criminals), sky high crime and homeless, elimination of freedoms, mandatory electric cars (even though they do more harm than good for the Earth), the enviro-morons in charge, etc.

Because to a leftist the disaster they create doesn't matter, the "virtuous" policies of "equity" and "progressivism" do. And since all of those policies are in play in CA, then it's just a matter of time before those policies stop producing the crap they inevitably lead to and instead begin to create the socialist utopia that can never be except in the imagination of the willfully ignorant dreamers. And when those policies inevitably fall short and create misery, it's always the fault of a) the GOP, b) instituionalized racism, c) capitalism or d) neighboring states where they don't have that kind of problem because they haven't implemented those stupid policies.
