I'm guessing you're not familiar with him? Chris Costa, formerly of MagPul Dynamics fame (same with Travis Haley - they used to run it together)
Does not matter what are his creds when he puts out stuff like that war belt crap and a tacticool lever gun. If someone wants a tactical home defense weapon in CA, get thee an 870 not a gun where you need to remove your hand from the grip and finger from the trigger after each shot. Ridiculous is ridiculous no matter what you said or did before you got ridiculous.

    Gunz are icky.
whenever I see the words tactical and lever action together I know it’s a fresh delivery off the train from Retardville.
    Let’s be honest here.
Lever guns are fun. They’re great for hunting.
    But…..
Lever guns suck as fighting weapons. Sure they can be pressed into service as one. So can my 1777 Charleville musket.
They are a pain to be reloaded under stress.
They’re also noisy AF to cycle and usually heavy in the larger calibers.
Lever guns have low round capacity.
As a fighting weapons there are plenty of better alternatives. Even one of those pump action AR15 things beats the heck out of a traditional lever action for a fighting weapon.
Hanging all that shit on your lever gun is Mall Ninja silliness.

Yes I know it’s your gun and you can do what you like with it. I’m good with that.
But I’ll go the old school way with my lever guns.

It’s a current trend. I’ve seen on YouTube where folks are running suppressed lever guns with all the rails and accessories. There are instructors with full classes running drills. I wouldn’t pay my hard earned money to put one together but I would enjoy taking it to the range occasionally.
