Born and raised in New Jersey, moved to Pennsylvania in 2009 and that was my first introduction to firearms, let's not even talk about NJ. Quickly became a concealed carry permit holder. In PA, it takes 15 minutes with a background check (the way it should be). I recently also got the Utah permit in order to fill in the nonsensical patchwork we are put though as gun owners in the pursuit to exercise a God given right. I've carried in Texas with my PA ID and have become quite the advocate of 2nd amendment rights and the right to carry. Although I am a regular member of PAFOA (popular PA gun board), it only seems logical that I get familiar with the culture of guns in Texas.

Thanks for the welcome. Lived in NJ until 32, grew up in Union County, went to school in Mercer County and then settled down in Morris/Passaic Counties. I spent a short time in Connecticut near the casinos prior to coming to Western Pa in 2009. I actually like it here but life brings me to Texas. I've been to Austin, Dallas, College Station, Tyler, etc....I think it will be a good fit.

I spent six weeks researching well logs in Dime Box last spring. Loved the countryside but I was trying to work on the cheap and stayed at the America's Best in Giddings. I won't be making that mistake again.
