Corpus has great local places

We tried Kikos and Nikos and thought they were both really good. Also Franks Spaghetti House. We enjoyed it as well.

The Republic Steak House on top of the Omni was also very good and the view is unbeatable.

There was a little hole in the wall seafood place at the end of Laguna Shores Drive called Laguna Reef. They also cooked whatever fish you caught, and provided the sides. You could also get to it by water and dock your boat on their patio.

As I said in the other post, I left there 10 years ago, so this place might not be there anymore, or it might not be worth going to now.

Also, I believe Snoopy’s burned down about 10 years ago. The guy that owned it used to own Frenchy’s and it burned down twice.

Snoopys still there. I never heard about it burning. Joe Cottons burnt down and now his nephew has essentially the same thing. Mike Cottons. Good bbq. Sadly it doesn’t have the same atmosphere as joe cottons but the food is identical.

Interesting story about Joe Cottons. There was a huge family fight, two Cottons opened and there was a huge lawsuit
