A bee went down my buddies shirt while on a motorcycle at a traffic light.
I have had that happen too, but a bumblebee at 70 mph is an entirely new level of pain. First off, the mass of the bumble bee feels like a brick at 70. A brick with a stinger! I am also conviced that the impact forced the bees venom into my chest at something approaching the speed of sound.

I was hit by a hornet on my side while mowing a pasture on a tractor.
I thought I had been shot.
I was pulling a batwing mower and ran over a ground hornet nest, I just stopped the mower over the nest. I bet there was a thousand dead ground hornets there after it was said and done. I could hear them ding ding on the blades as they were coming after me. Glad I had a cab.

I’ve been on vacation recently in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I rented a 4x4 Hilux Diesel stick shift for Nicaragua (have a diesel landcruiser prado for the CR leg of the trip).

This truck is awesome. I really wish we had these in the states, but a higher trim that retains the standard transmission vs the poverty spec model I have currently.
