I watched a movie about ENRON for free on TUBI online.

I have seen many financial movies over the years from A to Z and I had not seen this one before.

I have read MANY books about corruption in financial matters but I did NOT read a book about ENRON. I did read the 'news' and pay attention to the ENRON story way back when.

It was interesting, SAD and pathetic to see so much GREED, theft and lies go on.

The ENRON people were very involved with some power companies here in Montana. This was even before I moved here. My born and raised Montana husband told me this. Generations of HIS family here and he does remember that time frame especially when I ASK HIM why did they do this or that in the PAST.

The BUSHIES had a lot to do with the situation in MT and with other companies and STATES when it came to ENRON. So did some other Rs and a few Ds here in MT. History and so forth with energy companies and other BIG companies with mining and more.

What cracks me up is when the ENRON CROOKS got interviewed or cross examined in HEARINGS - they could NOT remember their SALES OF STOCK or moving ALL OF THAT MONEY AROUND TO LOOK GOOD while they SCREWED and DESTROYED other people including their own people with their PENSIONS.

Gag a maggot time for sure as my late husband would say!

Well....Hollywood keeps making woke crap

Considering the previous movies were 80% Wolverine and 20% everyone else being background characters, maybe they're just trying to give Storm, Jean Grey and Rogue more time in the spotlight?

I know I'm probably wrong, but I can at least be hopeful that's what it means...

Nothing wrong with that. It's when they decide to completely change established characters. Like these morons that want to make James Bond into a woman or a black man. Come up with new characters instead.

We went to see "The Fall Guy" last Friday. Overall, it was fun albeit being a little longer than it needed to be. It's a cross between an 80's action movie and a rom com. It can be hokey at times but pokes fun at itself and highlights the behind the scenes people that make actors look good. Definite streaming watch if you are so inclined. Loosely based off Lee Major's 80's tv series.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but will probably stream it. I enjoyed the old TV show. I think I can handle Ryan Gosling in the Lee Majors role.
I've always sort-a liked Emily Blunt, but darn ... She ain't no heather Thomas.

Turbo kid. A 1980's style teen movie set in the post apocalyptic future of 1997 (shot in 2015) Lots of gore

The Beast (1988) set in the Soviet-Afgan war. Sort of a mashup between David and Goliath and Moby Dick. A few good scenes showing how a tank crew operates.
